FIRST IMPRESSIONS ON YOUR NEW BESTY???

Mami really likes Columbina! She's funny, she's nice, she's charismatic and understands about showmanship. Mami's track record with magical girl friends has not been great, but hey, third times the charm! She's really hoping this time goes well, but sliiiightly cautious? She doesn't want to get burned again. PLEASE LIKE ME COLUMBINA :( Columbina actually being the one to say she wanted to be friends is a big help in moving them along, but still.

THE KYUBEY THING she's a bit concerned about, because haha the last purple Puella Magi that hated Kyubey was not our friend. Why are you hating on the cute mascot character what'd he do to you

COLUMBINA IS STOKED FOR NEW FRIEND. Since LA was so competitive she knows shit can get nasty, and whether she and Mami can ACTUALLY be friends it was good to get her close as early as possible. I mean she's assuming they can be real friends, but just in case, y'know? But the fact that Mami was naive of a couple key facts made Columbina kind of instantly protective. Even though she's grumbly right now, in fact she's pretty good at denial, and having someone who flat out doesn't know the truth makes just an excellent help with that :D. So she'll be doing her best to keep the nature of Witches (and any other unpleasant truths about Being Meguka) from Mami. It's better for Mami and it's better for Columbina everyone wins.

If we get more Puella, she might decide they are a team and that Mami is the leader. Yes, especially if she's lying through her teeth at her constantly. Obviously Mami is the cool, collected one. Unless they get a more shounen active Meguka, yeah. Mami should be the cool obviously competent leader.

OK OTHER QUESTIONS any headcanon for what kind of timeline would have gone BEST for Mami?

I have an adorable student, she's gonna be my frieeend, I'm gonna name all her attacks for her it's gonna be- Oh :(

In one of those terrible mangas she found out about the witch thing and got Jesus'd out of suicidal thoughts, I think it would take WAY more work than the manga implies but one where that is possible. And just as she confronts her issues with it, all the other girls manage to deal with it, they save Sayaka from witching and all five of them face the Walpurgis night together, it is hella magical girl team work power of friendship all up in here and they manage to win, yay! And hopefully they have some spare grief seeds lying around, work up a collection of them so all of them are safe, Madoka doesn't become Godoka (Sorry every magical girl ever) and then they go back to Mami's for cake. It goes something like the Fortissimo AMV, and they are an awesome puella magi team forever after.

Do YOU have any headcanon for the kind of magical girl antics Columbina got up to? Did she ever meet any other magical girls?

Yeah! It is my headcanon that LA is a little overpopulated Puella Magi-wise, since there are all kinds of girls there ready to sell their souls :'D. So while there were plentiful witches is was also pretty cut-throat between Magi. There were probably a few teams, but I don't think Columbina ever fell in with one, or if she did not for long. (I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THIS IF ANYONE EVER WANTS TO APP OTHER PARTS OF A SOCAL MAGI TEAM because I would be TOTALLY all over that)

Though if she ever did have a Magi friend it would probably have been someone who is a theater tech and made a wish for a selfless reason :'D. Maybe a costume or lighting girl.

Have you had any thoughts about an original Magi?

Selfless theatre tech awww. NOT REALLY I had an idea for a really tsundere lazy one who wished she was smarter so she could do her homework easily once, but I don't think I'd ever play her.

Tell me about Columbina's witch form.

Goldilocks why are you adorable, that is, talk to me about Goldilock's impression of Izumi?

Goldi thinks Izumi is pretty damn cool! She's kind and caring and helpful, and she feels Izumi is looking out for her. All in all a very nice lady, she kind of reminds her of her own mother.

She doesn't know exactly how hardcore Izumi is, but from what she's seen Goldi thinks Izumi is a very strong and capable woman, she adapted to this new environment quickly and started worrying for others, that's admirable. I imagine that sometimes she'd show up to follow Izumi around and help her with chores and things because she just really likes her company, Izumi has made a great impression, but I really need to be more active with her for things like that.

One of the things with Izumi is despite being this horrible and terrifying bear woman, she has the biggest soft spot for kids. She can't have her own, so she looks out for everyone else's. If she thinks a kid can take it, she'll bitch and maybe hit them in order to get them to shape up with tough love, but in the case of a kid like Goldilocks, where everything screams that she needs someone looking out for her, she's a lot gentler.

Basically, Izumi thinks Goldilocks is adorable but has some kind of condition Izumi doesn't understand yet, so she needs looked out for. So she will! Goldilocks can consider herself unofficially adopted as one of Izumi's neighborhood kids.

So what is the deal with Goldilock's psychosis thing? XD

...lol. Canon is a bit vague, basically Goldilocks went through a very traumatic bear related experience and her mind simply couldn't cope with it. She became violent and aggressive, which eventually developed into a kind of DID multiple personality thing with the bears. Then she went to Ever After which didn't help because they ran terrible experiments on the kids that involved mind rape and pain and they had machines that brought the dead back to life so they really didn't care much about the damage they did to the kids bodies. I should mention that in Goldi's canon fairy tales exposed to great trauma exude grim energy, which is a fantastic power source Doctor Crooked wants to study. SCIENCE!! Again her mind simply could not handle it and so she started repressing hard, she can't acknowledge terrible things that happen or else she goes into a very cold and distant state that can end in bear maulings. There's some paranoia and psychosis mixed in there too, with the visions of bears thing, girl is a mess.

How's Izumi coping with her students being here and Ed being all murdercavey and old?

Lenalee's take on a second Lavi/Rabi/Red?

Y-Yes XD

Lenalee has never minded the doubles and doesn't want to get hung up on issues, her stance is THEY ARE MY FRIENDS I WILL BE THEIR FRIEND >( It's weird, because Red has changed and developed and been broken so much, and while it's kind of nice seeing a Lavi who has it together he still hasn't had the same experiences, he's not the same as she knew? But she can adapt to that pretty easily.

Her biggest concern is that Red gets issues from this, so she wants to assure him with lots of hugs and love and making out that it's definitely him she loves. The others have adopted to their doubles alright though so she's hopeful :'D

How's Pochi doing? His memories still a jumble?
